Re: USB Sound

what about trying to try adding support for the NSA-220 to the vanilla kernel? http://nas-central.org/index.php/Orion_NAS_customisation_guide should give you a very good overview about what you need to do. if the GPL kernel sources are complete it should be possible to create a patch without too muc...

Re: Restore Edmini v2

obviously you need to connect the hdd of the edmini v2 to a pc running linux. i recommend to download the latest knoppix for that purpose. then after burning knoppix to a CD/DVD you boot it on your pc. in knoppix you need to start a shell window (like the DOS window in windows) and use "wget <link>"...

info: updated the gpl sources at http://gpl.nas-central.org/ZYXEL/NSA220 ... .10AFB0C0/

EDIT: downloads are broken again. seems as if zyxel does not allow many concurrent connections. thats exactly the reason why a mirror makes sense btw.

Re: New u-boot for the ED Mini with Macronix 512 KB flash

just read your uboot page, quite brave to flash the uboot binary at first person :) notice that the uboot source that you downloaded together with the GPL sources was (obviously) initially patched by marvell. the uboot source code is heavily patched...bbradley started working on a clean port of uboo...

Re: New u-boot for the ED Mini with Macronix 512 KB flash

i just put the link to your webpage into the sidebar of http://lacie.nas-central.org very interesting information, just read everything there. its really a shame that LaCie ships the ED Mini v2 with a uboot that can`t really access the Macronix flash where uboot is stored. i suppose the only way to ...
