Re: Duplicati on NSA320S?

OK, thank you for your answer and the advice. I assumed it's for Windows because of the ".....exe" at the end. But what I have in mind was a backup solution of NAS documents into the cloud, via WebDAV. And there I'd like to have them stored encrypted. Duplicati has this feature, Resilio, as far as I...

Re: Duplicati on NSA320S?

I'd also like to try out Duplicati on my NSA325v2.

@bermalej2
What you write is according to a compilation for Windows, isn't it?

@mrDini
What was your solution?

@cannonball
Yes, you're right. I have also no competition information online at crashplan.com but in the e-mail reports it's available:

Example:
Aspire V5 → NSA325-v2 30.7GB ↑196.1MB 57k ↑2k 99.9% - 15.4 hrs

@cannonball
No, the backups are finished without problems or warnings. I have only each time I open the program the information, that the upgrade wasn't successful.

Re: HOWTO: Install Crashplan on FFP 0.7 arm

Is the backup still working at anybody's NSA325?! Please give me a feedback, whether the problem I have is just here or whether it isn't working anymore (with new Windows clients ....)! Still working for me. I haven't changed anything and it is still working. Although still using Crashplan 4.4.1 on...

Re: HowTo install Openmediavault on Zyxel NSA325

Does openmediavault need Debian Wheezy to be installed on the 325(v2) or are the described installation steps based and suitable to the original Zyxel operating system on this NAS?

Re: HOWTO: Install Crashplan on FFP 0.7 arm

Reinstalling the JRE like adviced here (https://support.code42.com/CrashPlan/4/Troubleshooting/CrashPlan_App_Version_4.4.1_On_Linux_Does_Not_Back_Up) didn't solve the issue. I didn't try to reinstall crashplan completetely on the NASl. Here's a part of my log (service.log.0) on the NAS: [07.05.16 20...

Re: HOWTO: Install Crashplan on FFP 0.7 arm

I noticed yesterday evening, that my Windows clients (ver 4.7.0) are unable to connect to the NAS for over two weeks now.
The NAS seems to connect to Crashplan online without problems. I'll check the NAS log files these days.

Is it still working on at other users here?

Re: HOWTO: Install Crashplan on FFP 0.7 arm

@normsland Yes, it's sure that there won't be further FW upgrades for our NSA325v2 (confirmed by Zyxel on the German Zyxel Support forum). I think, I'll try to use it like I did before (mapped drive) or just change the backup solution, away from Crashplan. Setting up debian is not trivial and Crashp...

Re: HOWTO: Install Crashplan on FFP 0.7 arm

I just noticed, that the update directory of my Crashplan installation is running full (over 500 subdirectories) with the extracted update files of a update from October 2015.
Anyone else with this problem and an idea how to stop it?

Re: HOWTO: Install Crashplan on FFP 0.7 arm

Anyone managed to install Crashplan with this instructions on one of the new Zyxel NAS devices with new OS/Firmware 5.x?

I'm considering an "update" from 325-v2 to 326.

normsland wrote:[...]
To stop it updating on a Windows machine's simply set the Windows service "CrashPlan Backup Service" to Manual.

This prevents Crashplan from working/doing backups at all. I had to revert it again to automatic for Crashplan working again on my Windows client.

Re: HOWTO: Install Crashplan on FFP 0.7 arm

Unfortunately my Crashplan installation on the Windows machine upgraded automatically to 4.5.0 (I discovered it right now).
But: It's still doing the backup to my NAS! So it seems still to work between a 4.5.0 and a 4.4.1 installation.

Re: HOWTO: Install Crashplan on FFP 0.7 arm

hi! I found this workaround for preventing automatic upgrades on linux machines: Editing the path of the upgrade directory (<upgradePath>upgrade</upgradePath> to <upgradePath>/dev/null</upgradePath>) in my.services.xml.
