I've had a lot of really useful help from this forum. Big thanks for everything you've put into it and good luck with what you do next :D

Re: A new way to install 3th party zypkgs, like FFP, Dropbea

I'm trying to upgrade to v010, but it doesn't seem to work. I click upgrade, the install makes it to 100% but the version is still 009. What am I doing wrong?

Re: FFP 0.7 and Deluge - help needed

I am working on start-stop-control script for deluge right now, to simplify use of it. Also I will update deluge package itself-might be some bug fixes in source code. It will take several evenings to test everything, so be patient. That sounds awesome man. I upgraded python with your instructions,...

Re: FFP 0.7 and Deluge - help needed

Thanks. I want to try it because Transmission isn't working for me and I wanna see if this can do a better job. I'll check my python installation later.

I've tried installing it both ways and got crap speeds both times. Don't understand why. I'll post my settings later.

I just tried it, seemed to work pretty well. Noticing how much useful stuff you're responsible for, great work and thanks!

Re: FFP 0.7 and Deluge - help needed

I fancy trying Deluge. I installed it and all dependencies (I hope) through slacker and pip. Now I'm not sure what to do next - how do I start the program? I got this far: root@MEDIA:~# pip install deluge Requirement already satisfied (use --upgrade to upgrade): deluge in /usr/local/zy-pkgs/ffproot/...

What are your tips for better Transmission performance?

I decided to give Transmission another go since it's a pretty convenient way to do torrents and it can connect to Sick Beard. Problem is I get pathetic speeds from it on my NSA320 (around 10KB/s max). Using uTorrent on my PC via the same router is much faster. In fact, even the NSA's built-in downlo...

Re: auto install script SABnzbd, SickBeard and CouchPotato

I waited about 20 minutes for lxml to install. This is what it waits on: /ffp/lib/python2.7/distutils/dist.py:267: UserWarning: Unknown distribution option: 'bugtrack_url' warnings.warn(msg) That normal? Yes and no. There is no programs without a vice. Looking from this point of view-warnings are n...

Re: auto install script SABnzbd, SickBeard and CouchPotato

p.s. easy_install lxml takes a little over 10 minutes to complete. Ah :) I thought it was freezing, I'll try it again when I get the chance. EDIT I waited about 20 minutes for lxml to install. Trouble logging in after firmware update / FFP missing

It gets stuck on "Please wait" after I enter my username and password. Tried restarting manually by holding power button and getting same screen. I had disabled FFP before upgrading. Shares still work. Anyone else having this problem? Really don't want to have to reset it, what do I do? EDIT - Rando...

With my latest attempt to get everything set up the way I want it, I'm getting this error when starting SickBeard (for the first time and afterwards): root@MEDIA:/ffp/start# /ffp/bin/sickbeard/lib/imdb/parser/http/utils.py:472: UserWarning: unable to use "lxml": No module named lxml.html warnings.wa...
