First of all, many thanks for the answer... I think pendrive is not mounted .... I´ll try the command ´mount´ so ... Ok, now is working... I learned the basic concepts of Linux and wrote the files to hd, but something goes wrong... when I analyse the disk in Gparted, there is the (data) SFX partitio...

Installing fw in a new hdd - help

Folks, I´m a complete newbie in Linux... I need to perform this procedure ( http://iomega.nas-central.org/wiki/Installing_firmware_on_a_new_disk_%28Home_Media%29 ) First, do I need to format the HDD?
