Hello all, long time I didn't post any message here. :-) My EDMINI has the following kernel Linux lacie320 3.0.4 #2 PREEMPT Thu Oct 13 19:02:13 CEST 2011 armv5tel GNU/Linux and debian lenny. hi,

what do you see with ".../exploit?ls -l /var/www/cgi-bin/utelnetd" ? I ask you this because you wrote that you are able to see telned with ".../exploit?ls -al /etc/. Did you put telnetd in the /etc/ directory?

I succesfully installed ssh on my edmini V2 following these installation steps http://jebimony.com/blog/content/add-ss ... -edmini-v2.

did you change the permission with "chmod +x [write down here your path]/utelnetd"?

Hello, if your EDMINI V2 doesn't start up anymore you have to open it and to put your HD on another linux box (I have used " SATA to USB" adapater with my notebook). if it is necessary you can to restore the the partitions 6,7,8 "/dev/sda6 /dev/sda7/dev/sda8" you can dawnload the original from here ...

great work petris! I have just some questions concerning your described steps.

how did you install the rosbif kernel? what does serial connection enable? I have a hacked lacie edmini v2, can I use a ssh prompt to perform your installation steps?
