hi all, long time since I checked in here...
My NSA-220 is still up-and-running Debian Lenny and I'm trying to get a USB RF Remote device Working on it but have run out of ideas so better to ask the pro's...
Is there any way to get event support and have devices show up as "/dev/input/event0" etc. on this kernel that misses CONFIG_INPUT_EVDEV = m or am I screwed unless I recompile the kernel?
# Userland interfaces
# CONFIG_INPUT_MOUSEDEV_PSAUX is not set
# CONFIG_INPUT_JOYDEV is not set
# CONFIG_INPUT_TSDEV is not set
# CONFIG_INPUT_EVDEV is not set
# CONFIG_INPUT_EVBUG is not set
The USB device is recogniced but only shows up as "/dev/input/mouse0" a "cat /proc/bus/input/devices" gives the following...
I: Bus=0003 Vendor=0bc7 Product=0004 Version=0100
N: Name="X10 Wireless Technology Inc USB Receiver"
H: Handlers=kbd mouse0
B: KEY=108c0020 2000043 0 0 1b0000 0 8000 10180 91400811 9e1ec1 0 14003 40040ffc
Any smart workaround to solve it by using mknod or is the whole event thing out of reach without evdev enabled in kernel?
