How to upgrade hard disk ???

i have a LaCie Ethernet Disk mini - Home Edition (500 GB).

I am trying to upgrade the 500gb hard disk to 1.5 tb hard disk but i am totally blank as to where and how to start. Any help will be appreciated.

For the moment there is no way to do so. As you can read in this thread it's not clear how to assemble a working disk. But stay tuned, maybe you can help with donating partitiondumps from your working disk and things like that.
