partition table info and mbr

extracted from a new Lacie EBD, with seagate branded drives inside (Disk /dev/sdb - 500 GB / 465 GiB - CHS 60801 255 63, sector size=512 - ATA ST3500620AS) although i have also owned an EBD with samsung drives inside which seemed to have the same structure (Disk /dev/sde - 500 GB / 465 GiB - CHS 60801 255 63, sector size=512 - ATA SAMSUNG HD501LJ).

disk 2 does not have a partition table. it is all zeros up until 0x1EB80000, where there is an XFS header and the data (partition 2) from disk 1 continues. the disks are spanned (JBOD), not striped (RAID0).

note XFS Marker at 125/0/1.

This partition ends after the disk limits. (start=2008125, size=1951532032, end=1953540156, disk end=976773168)
the onboard controller makes the 2 drives appear as 1 large 'big disk'.

as mentioned previously the first block for disk 2 is all zeros.
