got a diskless EBD

Hey guys
hope you can help

Got a diskless EBD, Got 2x 500gb drive in it now, and as soon as i plug power in it turns on
ipconfig cannot find it, neither does it get detected at all via USB

someone told me its coz i need to configure the partitions again, Can anyone shed some light on this? im a windows user too

Hi,

Except for the boot loader all the EBD software is on disk.

If you change disks you will need to restore the original partitions (not only the partition table but also the contents of several of them).

Could someone provide a step by step with links!

i mean i got knoppix
i got the 2 new drives, i put one in and knoppix detects it
i can run the terminal!

What do i do

i have a copy of the images on a thumb drive

hey guys

as said above, does anyone have a step by step on how to fix this
im half tempted to email lacie and just ask them how much to get 2 new drives from them with the software on them
