No idea which one they installed. I have compiled and am using the ctorrent client which works fine on my 3 edminis V2. Install SSH and the developer tools as described on the wiki, and you will be able to compile ctorrent. Works fine most of the time, crashes (stops working without harming the system) very infrequently.

You can pipe the log into a file, run it autonomously from nohup and then you get the torrents downloaded without being connected via a terminal.

Tell me if I should post the edmini v2 binary. It works standalone (I think so at least).

As soon as I will get a 2big I am going to try hacking it and to put the developer tools on it as well. There is a bittorrent client so we will then know which one they use. I expect it to be an opensource package as pretty much all they are using on the edmini product range.

Hi,

thank you for your answer !!

Hmm Ctorrent seems to do only torrent, no ed2k ?

I was trying to get success with mldonkey that is able to get torrent and ed2k... but today, i can't get it working...

Also, it would be great to get ctorrent binaries...

perhaps you could telle me more info about lacie nas, they have ARM architecture aren't they ?
I'm looking for maximum infos to take the best from it !!

Have you try to reduce power concumption with parking hdd heads ?
