ls someone helps me

I got the device broken (probably a power fail), but the this are ok.
The device was setup in BIG mode, so RAID0.

Is there a way to read the data? I tried to plug in my disks to a friend device (same model) but the embedded linux don't boot.

I really appreciate any help. Thanks

Paolo

Connect both disks to a Linux PC. A 'normal' PC booted from a Linux Live CD will do. You can connect the disks either internally, or with an USB converter, or mixed.

Open a terminal (commandshell).
Assuming you are running Ubuntu, you have to install mdadm:
Code:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install mdadm
It is possible your raidarray is automagically assembled
Code:
cat /proc/mdstat
If you can find your raidarray in this listing (1 block is 1kB), you can skip to 'Mounting'.
Determine the device names of the datapartitions:
Code:
cat /proc/partitions
The size is given in blocks, which are kB. I'll assume your partitions are sdb2 and sdc2.
Assemble the array:
Code:
sudo mdadm --assemble /dev/md0 /dev/sdb2 /dev/sdc2

Mounting:
Create a mountpoint and mount (readonly):
Code:
mkdir /tmp/MyArray
sudo mount -o ro /dev/md0 /tmp/MyArray
When everything went OK, you can now use the GUI to access your data in /tmp/MyArray.
