Problem to boot my 2big

Post by ginpb » Sun Jan 13, 2013 8:26 pm

Hi everyone, I just got a 2big network, I connected my PC to the serial port and I got bad magic number error and the Marvell prompt. After loading a kernel using tftp, setting up the partitions i was able to get a fully functional debian unit. But there is still a problem, if I remove the power and turno on the device again the device doesn't start (bad magic number error) but if i write the reset command on the Marvell prompt, the system restart and this time everything is ok. The problem apparently is that the hardrive take too much time to start and the system try to boot before the HD is ready. There is a way to make a CPU restart using the buttons or other workarounds to this problem?.

Thank you very much.
