Phew....

What about uploading them here with FTP?

Or if you make a free collectors account at rapidshare.com etc then give the links, I can copy them for a more permanent storeand upload them here if allowed.

Klooride, are you able to upload them anywhere?

Either here with a bugtrackers account (see sticky in this forum) or on Rapdishare etc?

It would be most appreciated.

Thank you Mijzelf for the link & to Klooride for the images.

Does it not use partitions numbered 1-4?

(I have not even got a replacement drive yet, but want to find out as much as I can for when I do).

Partition 1 is an extended partition, containing the logical partitions 5-9. Partition 2 is the data partition. You can just put an empty filesystem on it. 3 and 4 don't exist, 5 is a swap partition, which you can create with mkswap, and 6-9 images are provided by klooride.

hello, thanks to the instructions and data provided i have rescued my networkspace, just 2 questions, i know i must recreate two folders in the sda2, for the shares, which permissions they needs to have? (i create them with the hdd connected to a linux box)
And, the sda10, is that an ext3 one or xfs or what?

thanks again

I'm not sure about the networkspace. On the 2Big Network partition 10 is completely filled with zero's. So just try it with an empty, non-formatted partition.

Hi i don't know what 10 is used for, but should be ext3. After I created it with fdisk I left it untouched: the NetworkSpace started and worked all the same

Not sure about that, but I remember that there was another directory called EDMINI. Can't remeber what the content was (and if present any). Maybe if someone has a untouched 2nd partition could confirm this it would be so useful (or better post somewhere the content of the supposed-to-be EDMINI directory)... :)
For the permission of myshare and openshare I have set it to 755 on both. AFAIK, when you access them from samba it is your smb.conf that rule the permission.

HTH

You didn't create a filesystem on it? fdisk doesn't.
