using cron jobs on NetworkSpace

Post by SpecialeW » Fri Sep 11, 2009 1:36 pm

Hey everybody,

NetworkSpace has a built in option to synchronise time with a timeserver on the web.
I've set this to nl.pool.ntp.org but it doesn't sync right.
if I reboot the thing, it has an offset of several hours. (when I go to the config pages and press apply on the time page it will sync right :? .)
I've succesfully installed ssh...
can anyone help me to setup an hourly cronjob or something.
I'm a total linux noob, so i don't know how to do it.
I followed this tutorial, but it didn't work. (cron won't start or something, because test.sh doesn't produce output in /tmp)

thnx in advance

Got it working...
My NetworkSpace shuts down automatically at 1:30 AM every day (need to figure out a way to check the system usage, so it will shut down if i'm not using it for a while) and every hour it will synchronise it's time correctly.
