Problem to copy video files bigger than 4GB on USB partition

hello there, i am new with My Lacie Network space 2 and i try to copy a Video File who is bigger than 4 GB form my PC to my USB partition on Lacie who is 128GB big. I always get an error --> not enough space

could someone tell me the reason and how to solve it ?

If the file size is bigger than 4 giga you have to format the usb partion for NTFS.

thank you for the answer, i did already. i used my PC with XP to format the USB partition but i still have the same problem, cannot save file who are bigger than 4GB :(

It might help to edit the XP registry:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\SERVICES\LANMANWORKSTATION\PARAMETERS] "SessTimeout"=dword:00000600.
