Lacie network space, other os.

Post by lacienas » Sat Feb 06, 2010 7:42 am

Hello everyone,

One year ago I bought the LaCie Network Space 500Gb.
Now, I find that the os on the disc is very limited.
There is also a new disc, the LaCie Network Space 2.
Is it possible to install the os from the LaCie Network Space 2 on? (Or an other os?)

Thank you.

It should be possible to install an other, custom, OS on the LaCie NetworkSpace. In fact, I run Debian in a chroot. Running a custom OS natively is probably a bit more difficult, but should be possible.
