Network Lacie Root Access

Hey Guys,

I have followed the Tutorial on the Wiki but starting sshd will not work.

Log of telnet

Code: Select all

./usr/share/man/man3/EVP_OpenInit.3ssl.bz2
./usr/share/man/man3/EVP_PKEY_new.3ssl.bz2
...
./etc
./etc/ssl
./etc/ssl/misc
./etc/ssl/misc/CA.sh
...
NetworkSpace /root #
NetworkSpace /root # tar -xvjf /home/openshare/sshd.tbz2 -C /
.
./etc
./etc/rc.d
./etc/rc.d/init.d
./etc/rc.d/init.d/sshd
NetworkSpace /root #
NetworkSpace /root # chmod +x /etc/rc.d/init.d/sshd
NetworkSpace /root #
NetworkSpace /root # ln -s /etc/rc.d/init.d/sshd /etc/rc.d/rc3.d/S20sshd
ln: /etc/rc.d/rc3.d/S20sshd: File exists

./etc/pam.d
./etc/pam.d/sshd

diskparams mdnsd proftpd sysklogd
NetworkSpace init.d #
NetworkSpace init.d # sshd start
sshd re-exec requires execution with an absolute path
NetworkSpace init.d #
NetworkSpace init.d #
If i try at last step to start sshd on root it looks like this
NetworkSpace /root # /etc/rc.d/init.d/sshd start
-sh: /etc/rc.d/init.d/sshd: not found
Than i go to the folder init.d and try to start sshd
NetworkSpace init.d # sshd start
sshd re-exec requires execution with an absolute path
** The thing is that i could not create the "sshd" with telnet. So i did it on Windows, create a tar file using 7-Zip, copied to openshare and extracted it.

Could that be the Problem?

karabey
