First of all I would like to apologize if my question is boring for you but i'm quite new with unix systems and command lines.

I read somewhere that it is possible to install the FFP stick via telnet ( in my understanding what I am supposed to do is attach the usb to the Zyxel NSA and access via telnet/ssh client)
According to this method of installation I would get the arm not oarm packages and options.
would some one give a set of commands to perform this?

Currently i'm using V4.23(AFD.1) firmware and i'm able to access the NAS via telnet.
I used the guide to create the usb drive by extracting the files on a FAT usb.

After installing the ffp a tried installing the transmission package, but im unable to start the daemon.

I get an error for a library:
Code:
root@NSA210:~# sh -x /ffp/start/transmisison.sh start
sh: /ffp/start/transmisison.sh: No such file or directory
root@NSA210:~# transmission-daemon -g /mnt/HD_a2/admin/transmission
transmission-daemon: can't load library 'libevent-2.0.so.5'

after that im trying this:
Code:
root@NSA210:~# /ffp/start/transmission.sh start
Starting transmission-daemon
FAILED. Does user nobody have a shell?
.
Any help is appreciated.

A typo. transmisison => transmission

You'll have to install package libevent.

That might be the missing packet libevent, but also user nobody not having a shell. When you execute 'cat /etc/passwd' you should find a line starting with nobody. If this line ends with false, nobody doesn't have a shell. Install nano to edit it. Exchange the :/bin/false by :/ffp/bin/sh

The internal HD can be found at /mnt/HD_a2. When you want to put it in a share, first create the share, and then use /mnt/HD_a2/<sharename> (Case sensitive)
