Anybody seen this issue? I change the settings using http://mynas:9000/config Twonky Mediaserver Page. However and whenever I (have to) reboot the NAS, not twonky, I have to enter all the changed settings again..

NAS Firmware: 2.4.17

I tried searching for the mediaserver.ini (or something like that) to manually edit it (SSH). But have no clue where it's to be found. :?:

Thanks all for any feedback.

I can customize my setting by editing with vi this config file:
Code:
vi /usr/local/install/Twonkymedia/scripts/twonkymedia/twonkymedia-server-default.ini

note that /usr/local/install is a symlink to /home/PUBLIC/.pkg, which is writable.
For a useful list of options, you can simply have a look at the currently running config file:
Code:
vi /var/twonkymedia/twonkymedia/twonkymedia-server.ini

I wouldn't copy it over the other one, just set what you REALLY need (ie folders path).

What is bad about twonky on this shitty NAS is that sometimes it unexpectedly quits streaming, and when I first turn the Nas on, I can't access SMB shares nor the web interface. I have to manually stop twonky via ssh to get the web interface back. Twonky won't stay off for long, there seems to be some daemon restarting it automatically after a while. When it restarts, the Nas web is still accessible though. I had no time to investigate what's wrong at first boot...

The other strange thing about twonky package is that it seems to be one way: it can't be uninstalled, the checkmark is simply disabled on the web interface.

Weird...
