Hi,

I have a Lacie Network Space 2.
I have selected the option 'Multimedia service (OpenShare)'.
When I click on the button 'opnieuw indexeren (reset index)' the following message is shown "Het systeem kon de mediabestanden niet opnieuw indexeren." (The system could not index the files again).
I have firmware version: 2.2.8.5.

Does someone has any idea how to fix this?

Grtz

Lacies support advice on https://www.lacie.com/support/support_manifest.htm?id=10300&article=1007 proposes a power cycle and if that doesn't help a factory reset.

Personally I wouldn't do the reset, I would:
- Root the device
- Wipe the twonky db

Rooting using the symlink method is pretty straight forward.

As a bonus you could easily enable the web gui to twonky.

I'm new here, could you give the details on what exactly these operations are and how to proceed ? Thanks...
