Hi all,
my name is Simone form Italy.
Bought the NSA211 a pair of years ago. Never got any problems except one:
Cannot upgrade firmware in anyway.
I bought 2x HDD WD Red for NAS 1TB and when i insert them the SYS led stucked on blinking and doesn't work.
The HDD's led are both green (so i assume thet the NAS see them), it's like the disks are not present, looking for the HDD compatibility i sow the SATA-3 disks are supported.
So.. tryed to upgrade firmware (actual version is 4.23AFM.0), with the automatic check doen't find any new firmware, so i downloaded manually first fw 4.40AFM and the 4.41AFM (for a sucessive upgrade from 4.40)
Upgrading it manually to the 4.40 version i recived always the error "Invalid Firmware file.
Resetted it to factory defaul without chencging any impostations but same problem.
Any idea?
tnx a lot

To be complete:
already tryed to overwrite fw with the same version but... Invalid Firmware file, from the log i see only:
Firmware upgrade fails, file 423AFM0C0.bin is invalid or corrupted.
Tryed olso with UAC fw versions but same problem

Are you sure your current firmware is an AFM version?
