Hi,
I have moved house recently, which resulted in;
A) New router, using 192.168.0.1 subnet range, whereas previously it was on 192.168.1.1
B) Installed a new hard drive into the NAS, as one wasn't detected (never was)
Now, I run the NAS Seeker software, but it doesn't find the NAS on the network. I have also pressed the RESET button on the back of the NAS until it beeped then started it again, with no luck on the NAS seeker software.
I expect the issue is due to the difference in IP ranges, but can anyone assist me in getting my NAS back please!
Thank you for your time
Moved house, now NAS isn't on network

How did you restart it? If you powercycled it, and didn't wait long enough before pulling the plug, the reset wasn't applied yet. The box starts resetting when you release the reset button.SeedyAre wrote:I have also pressed the RESET button on the back of the NAS until it beeped then started it again
Further, AFAIK a 'single beep' reset resets the admin password. For a full factory reset you should keep the reset button pressed until it has beeped three times. Then release the button, wait a minute, and press the power button to shut it down, if it didn't reboot automatically.
