I have crashed the hard drive on my d2 network (not the v2) it´s the old one with ARM926EJ processor. Looked around this forum for ages - but i´m not sure the partitions and images from the other LaCie NAS is going to work, since they are Marvel based.
Any help or answers would be appreciated? Does the linux system work on both types of processors??
I have contacte LaCie they say the repair is 69€ - But I have alredy bought a new 1TB drive..

Thx in advance.

The file /sda7/lib/lacie/libutil from the NS2 contains this snippet of code:
Code:
#==============================================================================
# Products' ID
#==============================================================================
ID_EDMINIV2=EDminiII
ID_EBIGDISK=EBigDisk
ID_D2NETWORK=d2Net
ID_BIGNETWORK=BigNet
ID_2BIGNETWORK=2Big
ID_5BIGNETWORK=5Big

# Kirkwood based boards
ID_NETSPACE_V2=netspace_v2
ID_INETSPACE_V2=inetspace_v2
ID_NETSPACE_MAX_V2=netspace_max_v2
ID_D2NET_V2=d2net_v2
ID_NET2BIG_V2=net2big_v2
ID_NET4BIG_V2=net4big_v2
ID_NET5BIG_V2=net5big_v2
The 2Big runs fine on the EdMini2 kernel/partitions, and your D2 is in the same list. So you could just try them. It will boot or not.
