Rui,
- LaCie hardware: ..........not found
- LaCie firmware version: ..........not found
This is not an error, is informing that the script can't detect your Lacie hardware since you are in Ubuntu.

The problem is in lzma.
- Unpacking original (2.0.6) rootfs tarball (can take up to 5 minutes) .........../create_capsule.sh: linha 315: ../lzma: Ficheiro ou directoria inexistente
tar: Isto não se parece a um arquivo "tar"
tar: Exiting with failure status due to previous errors
The errors are because lzma is not reachable

Maybe there is a problem in lzma detection.

Some problem in the script i think.
I never tested it in a not LacieOS linux.
- lzma installed ..........yes
Do you have lzma installed?
What does the command 'which lzma' returns?

In the script, the line

Code: Select all

	../lzma -dc ../capsule_${lacie_ftp_model}_${capsule_version}/repository/rootfs.tar.lzma | tar -x -f -
should be exchange by

Code: Select all

	lzma -dc ../capsule_${lacie_ftp_model}_${capsule_version}/repository/rootfs.tar.lzma | tar -x -f -
@andreus:
use a variable to store the lzma path?

And again you're right Mijzelf.
I didn't try it in a not LacieOS Linux, so lzma was never installed :)
There are two lines i have to replace.
@andreus:

Yes, that's what i'll do.

Rui, you can replace the lines which have '../lzma ...' for 'lzma ...' or wait until i made a change in the script.
Don't forget to clean the first try files before starting.

Please inform of the results.

Boa sorte

try this one http://downloads.lacie.nas-central.org/ ... .sh_v6.txt

I added various tests (paths, old folders, etc) for reducing the error probability and improve debugging.

If it doesn't work put the exact output (from beggining) please.

UPDATE:
Oh, i noticed now that you already did it by manual changing the lzma paths. Good :)
After you update, can you try the new script v6 just to be sure it works for others? Thank you
