I can successfully attach my different NTFS formatted HDDs as USB shares on my NETWORKSPACEMAX (one at a time, of course)
The problem is that for just ONE of them (a LaCie 2T disk), I get an Access Denied error when I try to write to it through the network share (read is ok). This drive contains already a lot of data, so the last thing I want to do is to format it in FAT32 as LaCie support suggests !
When this LaCie 2T HDD is attached directly to a USB port of my computers, all is fine.
I checked the NTFS permissions on the root of this USB drive, and I could not see any difference with the perms on the other drives....
Any ideas ?
How to t'shoot this (I'm not a Unix expert) ?
Could there be a disk size issue, as 2TB is the limit for USB-attached drives on the NETWORKSPACEMAX ? (Note: when I copy folders & files from this USB-attached disk to the OpenShare using the LaCie File Browser, they can be now written...).
I'm using Win7/64 SP1
