Been reading these forums for a while. My HMNHD died (360gb version), plugged the disk in and worked fine in computer. So went through the process of re-installing firmware. Things went smoothly, no errors. Turn the drive on, can log into net disk setup. However it says no drive is detected? Go into disk management, format. Sometimes works, otherwise comes up with a random error. However after formatting, it says that the free space is 800gb, and the available space is 360 gb? Very confusing. That and net disk becomes very slow, and then the blue hd light just flashes.

I have tried re-installing the firmware 5+ times, and get the same result, trying different instructions in the guide.

Any ideas? Or is the arm circuit board just fried?
