Hi

Firstly great forum and have used it extensively to help me through the issue.

Had the dreaded Blue/Orange LED Flash after powering down / up NAS drive; have connected via Linux and followed the instructions on http://iomega.nas-central.org/wiki/Inst ... Home_Media) - for system only, not data. Data is intact and can see it on linux.

However when I plug the system in I still get the blue/orange flashing LED. Using an ASUS RT-N56U router as extender to an AT&T modem - every other device is getting assigned address so am err'ing on the Iomega isn't correctly working.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

The only suggestion I have is to try another cable, and to try another port on the router. If both don't help, I'm afraid your network interface is defective.

Thanks for the advice - I will try it out.

Luckily my router acts as a DNLA streamer for USB attached drives (Asus RT-N56U), so worst case I'll buy an enclosure and stream that way.

Thanks for the quick reply!
