Folks, I´m a complete newbie in Linux... I need to perform this procedure ( http://iomega.nas-central.org/wiki/Inst ... e_Media%29 )

First, do I need to format the HDD? It is a 1TB disk, formated in NTFS system... Second, I can´t find the path to mbr+uboot+kernel.gz archive ... It is in a pendrive, but I can´t specify the path...

Any help will be appreciated ... sorry my bad english... thx

1) No. Any partition (and it's data) is lost in the installation process.
2) Is the stick automounted? In that case you can find the mountpoint by executing 'mount'.

First of all, many thanks for the answer... I think pendrive is not mounted .... I´ll try the command ´mount´ so ...

Ok, now is working... I learned the basic concepts of Linux and wrote the files to hd, but something goes wrong... when I analyse the disk in Gparted, there is the (data) SFX partition, the EXT3 logical partition, but the boot partition is UNKNOW... any clue, please?

Logical? The box has 3 primary partitions, the rootfs, the data partition, and a partition without filesystem.
