Strange behaviour with Remote Access [SOLVED]

Post by sicopata » Sun Dec 11, 2011 8:26 pm

Why if I'm out of home and looking remotely a file from Iomega ... suddenly ... in few minutes ... I can't access to Iomega?

Without solution trying with ipad, iphone and PC ... server not respond

TZO is good configured ... even you see the redirection ... but then server not respond

I guess that maybe the HDD was blocked in the network or maybe get unavaiable for any circunstance. I wait until get home again and restart the Iomega Home Media Network ... but it doesn't worked.

Right now I restart the router guessing that's the problem, no solution
I have change several options in the router settings: DMZ, Control Access from the firewall, MAC Access ... no way

HMNHD
Firmware 2.064
Manual IP configured 192.168.2.100 etc
DZO configured (everything with green tick)

Router
Port Forwarded 80, 443 and torrent port
DMZ enable

It was working for 24 hours and I get remote access with Safari ipad/iphone, but suddenly later a .doc load file in the browser out of house I can't connect again remotely until now. I've tried use the public IP with https and http

Finally I found the mistake ... or maybe the BUG

You need to have "slide show" enable in "active folder" to don't get a "redirect" from the Remote Access
