750 GB disk instead of 1TB. Not able for format XFS....

Post by jdalby » Thu Mar 15, 2012 1:38 pm

Hi,

my 1 TB disk is fried, so i tried using a 750GB I had laying around.

I tried following this instruction:

http://iomega.nas-central.org/wiki/Inst ... ome_Media)

But somehow the LAST part fails.

"mkfs -t xfs /dev/sdb2"

I have a harddrive with the 25mb partition, the 4.2 gb partion, and a BLANK partition with the rest of the harddrive.

I can boot my home media, and it works.. But diskspace is only around 1GB.....

When I run:

mkfs -T xfs /dev/sdb2

My error message is :

fs_type xfs is not defined in mke2fs.conf
