I have an ix2-200 with 2 1T drives. I am looking to expand it to 2 3T drives. I would like to do this without having to copy the data out and back in.

Can I simply swap out one of the existing 1T disks with a 3T one.
Let it rebuild and once complete
Swap out the remaining 1T drive with the 3T.
And Let that rebuild.

Or do I have to do both at the same time? Using external storage to rebuild the new T3s

Thanks for the advice.

Hey, what is the result ?

I think you would have more stuff to do, like extending then the partition to whole disk. The array reconstruction won't extend by itself the raid array.
