I upgraded my ix2-200 to the cloud edition to use my new 3TB HDDs. I tried different things but it won't work with the new Hds (original disk + new disk, only the new disks)... Can anyone help me out? Its only working with the original 1TB disks...
Thanks!

You are running CE with that 1TB disks?
Do you have serial access?

Question:
I had been running CE on my non CE IX2-200 for a long time. I'm getting rid of it and don't have any drives in it. When the new owner starts up the NAS with new disks will the firmware still be the CE firmware? How do I revert it to the non CE firmware without disks?

When the new owner starts with new disks, it won't boot. The mayor part of the firmware is installed on disk. He'll have to use a recovery stick to install the firmware on disk, and that has to be a CE stick. It is possible to install older firmware (why would you want it?) by installing it twice, renaming a directory in between. Just like you installed CE.
