Does anyone has experience with making a network connection to the 5big network NAS from a 64 bit WIndows 7 machine because i cannot make a network connection from a 64 bit machine to the 5big. From a 32 bit machine it works.

I have already make the settings in secpol.msc: network security LAN manager : LM and NTLM answers send and 128 bits security etc.. When changing this settings on a 32 bit machine Windows 7 network mapping can be made to a share on the 5big, but changing this on a 64 bit Windows 7 does not have effect, i cannot make a network mapping...

there is no difference between 32 and 64 bits for making a network connection, just enter \\nas-name\share in the popup box when making a network connection
Of course replace nas-name by actual name of you nas and share by the the shared folder name.
(I use windows 64 bits)

There is no need to use secpol.msc afaik
