Hello to you all,

I have been trying for a while to find the relevant information on how to access remotely my Lacie Wireless Space (LWS) which I have connected under an Apple Airport Extreme (AE).

On AE I have enabled NAT Port Mapping Protocol and the system got for me a default host address. Do I have to assign a port also on the port settings on the AE, my main agenda is to be able to access my HDD on Lacie through a FTP service when I am not home.

Then what ports should I open or setting do I have to set under LWS. I am sure there must be a tutorial somewhere but I could not have found it. I talked to the Lacie support guys but they told me they cannot help with the AE as it is another's brand product so I hope I can find help here.

Maybe someone can shed some light on this. I am using iMac 27 model 2011 on Mavericks.

Many thanks in advance,
Serban
