How to make changes permanent

Post by michaelenstone » Tue Jan 04, 2011 9:15 pm

Hi Guys,

I've been trying to get slim server running on my wireless space. I've got root SSH running. I've tried to install ipkg but couldn't get that to work, I've managed to get a gentoo chroot running but I need a way to make changes permanent.

I've read the network space forums which point to a cleanup script but I cannot find something similar on the wireless space. I've read that the wireless space uses ROM to store the OS so any changes are only ever written to RAM.

Does anyone know how I can make OS customisation s permanent i.e. they remain even after reboot.
