TLS is cryptographic protocol, which provides communications security, while Mr. Dini is talking about file transfer protocol type:sftp, scp, ftp, webdav. To be able to login via sftp, you need to start ssh daemon first. In case of FFP:

Code: Select all

sh /ffp/start/sshd.sh start
Enable autostart sshd service on NAS boot:

Code: Select all

chmod 755 /ffp/start/sshd.sh
I would strongly recommend to update sshd as soon as possible:

Code: Select all

slacker -UaA br2:{wget,openssh,openssl}

Code: Select all

sh /ffp/start/sshd.sh restart
BTW. FFP has nothing common with your outdated certificate, unless you have installed one of tftp, proftpd or vsftpd packages. Most likely, ftp service is provided by ZyXel firmware, if you enabled it.

I have a problem. When installed FFP and minidlna I just can not get to the WebGUI. When I disable FFP has no problem with the WebUI but also excluded minidlna. Ihave NAS326 v5.20. Do you have an idea of what to do with it?

I don't know what happened to ffp.inreto.de. Obviously server service is down.

Hi all.
My FFP just went down, so I needed to install it again.
I've used FFP 0.7 BETA: FFPStick-2016-09-24.zip
Because ffp.inreto.de isn't working, I had to uploaded fun_plug.tgz manualy into root.
So as far as I can tell, the instalation went ok and it works.

Then I started to install miniDLNA step by step in accordance with tutorial here.
No errors, so it went fine.
At the end I tried to star miniDLNA and the outcome is:
root@nsa310:~# /ffp/start/minidlna.sh start
Starting minidlna.../e-data/71114882-d839-413b-92eb-2a057984a202/ffproot/ffp/bin/minidlna: can't load library 'libjpeg.so.8'
[ Fail!!! ] ERROR WARNING: minidlna can not start!!!

So the library is missing. How should I install it?
I know, where I can finde it
Mirror is here:
http://funplug.wolf-u.li/mirrors/s/0.7/arm/packages/
I don't know what happened to ffp.inreto.de. Obviously server service is down.
I don't how to install it.

When I try:
slacker -Uui uli:libjpeg
the outcome is:
Updating package lists...
fetch: rsync -q 'rsync://funplug.wolf-u.li/funplug/0.7/arm/packages/CHECKSUMS.md5' '/ffp/funpkg/cache/uli'
No packages found (status iu, pattern (^uli:.*libjpeg))

Thanks for your help.

slacker doesn't knows about s: mirror at Uli. Only manual installation possible:

Code: Select all

wget http://funplug.wolf-u.li/mirrors/s/0.7/arm/packages/libjpeg-8c-arm-1.txz
funpkg -i libjpeg-8c-arm-1.txz
rm libjpeg-8c-arm-1.txz

hello guys,

im kinda of noob over linux OS, ive been trying my best to install PLEX server, no luck, ive tried Serviio also, no luck too. Now Ive found miniDLNA which fits my needs, low CPU consumption

The thing is that i suspect (im not sure, as ive said im noob) the packages for "memiks" is not available, at least i cannot access the webserver using firefox, is unavailabe. I think without that package available over the web it will not be possible to install miniDLNA. I get ths error for the "memiks" when using "uwsiteloader.sh" to update packages:

Updating package lists...
fetch: (cd '/ffp/funpkg/cache/memiks'; wget -Nnv 'http://ffp.memiks.fr/pkg//CHECKSUMS.md5')
FATAL: memiks: No CHECKSUMS.md5
Thanks for using UW Site Loader!

What i've done so far is to update the packages using code "uwsiteloader.sh" but instead of choosing all the packages and i get that error i choose all except "memiks". Doing this all will be fine.

Just wanted to give this hint because not everyone is a linux hardcore :)

well, the issue now is that the subtitles is not available like advertised, on version 1.1.5 it should be available i guess.

I'm runing NSA325-v2 for the miniDLNA and a Sony BDP-S4500 to play the movie.

Should i do anything else to have the subtitles? I have the .SRT and .MKV exactly with the same name by the way.

thank you

PS: By the way, the hardware im sing is a NSA325-V2.

Hi!

The miniDLNA Can send the subtitles too for the receiver, if it has the same name az the video file. But in some cases, the TV not supports subtitles over DLNA playing. So, try on a desktop PC DLNA and if the subtitles shown up Your TV doesn't supports that function, as I mentioned.
Thanks nas-central the lot of help! :)

thanks for your help MrDini!

If i play the movie on the Samsung TV, using Twonky or miniDLNA the subs shows up, if i use miniDLNA or twonky on the blueray player no subtitles shows up.

Very disapointing..

Is there any blueray player that surely reads the subs? This Sony is the second one that i buy but also doesnt work, i had the samsung BDP-S5500, and also no subtitles. I would like to make a sure buy instead on trial and error..:(

Sorry, but I am not experienced in BD players... I use Kodi on HTPCs and smart TVs to watch TV.

But in my country, when You buy a product, You Can refund the purchase, without any cause. :D

None of the packages used in this tutorial are hosted in memiks repository.
This error is totally unrelated with topic:
fetch: (cd '/ffp/funpkg/cache/memiks'; wget -Nnv 'http://ffp.memiks.fr/pkg//CHECKSUMS.md5')
FATAL: memiks: No CHECKSUMS.md5
Thanks for using UW Site Loader!
You can use the uwsiteloader.sh script to unselect memiks or any other repo as well.

Hi,
minidlna disapeared from the package list?
I tried installing and I see it's no longer there.
Can you check?
