Maximum capacity of NSA 320

Post by icola007 » Fri Dec 20, 2013 4:03 pm

Hi,

Today I bought my first NAS: Zyxel NSA320 :D
When I bought it, I thought it had a maximum capacity of 4TB (because the specs on every website keeps telling me this). But I just got my NAS and the box told me it has a maximum capacity of 8TB.
Can anyone tell me how much the maximum capacity actually is?
Many thanks in advance!

Greetz,
Thibault

At the moment? 8TB. When bigger disks are available it might be more.

The box is not really limited to some pre-defined disk size. But of course ZyXEL won't guarantee it will work with future disks which cannot be tested yet.

And also you can add a lot of USB drives to the device.

I have 6 externel NTFS formatted 2TB drives added.

So I have now (allmost) 14 TB available.
NSA320 FW V4.70(AFO.3) Entware-ng (previous FFP 0.7 on usb )
NAS326 with Entware-ng
Bunch of USB 2 & 3 external disks connected to nas.

Good morning all. would anyone happen to have the 4.7? firmware for a nsa320 as the support has been dropped by zyxel and i wish to fit 2 4tb drives. Thanks Stuart
