OK, as usual, I've bitten off a little more than I can chew. Admittedly, I'm a raw newbie.
Any push in the right direction would be appreciated.
I've disabled FFP in the NSA325 admin screen.
I updated to FW 4.81
I enabled Telnet and I'm working through it now.

It took me a while to find the opt was, at least in my case, actually /i-data/md0/.system/zy-pkgs/opt

I've followed the instructions in posting #2 on page 1 to the best of my ability. I noticed what I assumed was an error in chmod a+x /opt/etc/init.d/NZBautomator and changed it to chmod a+x /opt/etc/init.d/s80NZBautomator.

When I run
/i-data/2378ff60/.system/zy-pkgs/opt/etc/init.d # sh -x S80NZBautomator start
the result is as follows:
+ . /opt/etc/autonzb.confS80NZBautomator: .: line 2: can't open '/opt/etc/autonzb.conf'

I have a feeling that my problem lies in the fact that I've missed some step to make my root directory /i-data/md0/.system/zy-pkgs and that's causing path issues.

OK, am I anywhere close?

Alright...ignore the previous post. Since then, I've hit the magic reset button and started from scratch.

This time I think I'm a lot closer.

I think you may have grabbed the script while I was making changes over the last few days... Re download the script and config file from the link in post 2, set your options in the config file, and run the script and post the output to pastebin... There's a rogue " in the version you have

Looks like a success!!

I'll do some testing now and report back.

I'm new to Pastebin. I hope I'm doing this right.

It does look like it installed correctly... just need to find out why pyopenssl wont install, I'll have a good look through the output from opkg and see if i can find why...

Ok on line 332 of the output from opkg
Code:
opkg_install_cmd: pyopenssl
pkg_info_preinstall_check: Updating file owner list.
Unknown package 'pyopenssl'.

Can you do
Code:
opkg list
and see if pyopenssl is in the list. Post the list to pastebin if you like.

scrap that, the package name has changed, can you download the latest script version from github and give that a try, can you also do me a favour and set sabnzbd to 1 and see if it installs correctly? again post output to pastebin, thanks!

Thanks for everything so far.

Here's the list. I'll get to the other one later today and post back the results.

Something strange...although everything seems to be working normally, my top LED is constantly flashing...strange.

OK, downloaded the new script at 16:30 EDT and installed.

here's the output:

http://pastebin.com/1h35TpHD

Looks to me like there's an issue, but I'll see what's running anyway.

NZBGet gives me: Loading configuration failed

Could not load template configuration file nzbget.conf. The file contains descriptions of options and is needed to display settings page. The file comes with NZBGet distribution archive and is usually automatically installed into the right location. This seems not to be a case with your installation though.

Please edit your configuration file (/opt/share/nzbget/nzbget.conf) in a text editor and set the option ConfigTemplate to point to the template configuration file nzbget.conf.

Couchpotato starts and apparently runs fine.

Sickbeard too looks OK at first glimpse

Sab and Headphones appear to NOT be running, at least I can't bring up their web interfaces.

Edit:
~ # pgrep -f sab
23435
~ # pgrep -f head
23816

Looks like they ARE running, but I can't pull up their page on my browser.

ahh probably something to do with the previous install of SABnzbd, sorry... im getting ahead of myself.

Can you delete the folder /opt/share/sabnzbd and re run the script.

Headphones is a funny one, it only allows connections from a local machine... to fix that there are instructions on the 2nd post of this thread.

i'll have a look at nzbget, but the fix is easy enough... can you see where nzbget.conf.template is in your install... also where does nzbget.conf say the template file is

I've followed your directions. Both the nzbget.conf and the nzbget.conf.template are located in /opt/share/nzbget. I've made the change in the conf file.

Here's the output: http://pastebin.com/LH2BFdV4

It looks like NZBGet is now working.

I've still got no luck with Headphones (even though I made the 0.0.0.0 change) or Sab (even though I deleted the directory first).

Hopefully the output will help you out.

Strange for headphones, did you shut it down before making the change to the ini file?

As for Sabnzbd can you try to remove /opt/usr/etc/config/sabnzbd/sabnzbd.ini and re-run the script, it might be running on the default port, another issue from yesterday.

To see what port SAB is running on
Code:
pgrep -f sab
netstat -tulpn | grep (SAB pid)

Update...

Headphones--my fault. I was trying to access it externally without setting up the port forward. It seems to be working fine.

Using the above method, SAB seems to be running on port 8080, but I still can't bring up its webpage.

Edit Sabnzbd.ini, in there you should find port = 8080, change it to whatever port you like and re run the script to start Sabnzbd check if it is running on the new port

Burbulence, you're going to regret ever starting to help me :o

During this process...
I've factory reset my NAS (a couple of times due entirely to my bonehead mistakes).
I've updated to the latest firmware for the NSA325.
I've removed all packages (except ffp so far, I thought I might need some of the admin files there) from the main Zyxel admin page.
I've installed GIT.
I've downloaded, installed and run your script (again, a few times due to my own stupidity/carelessness).

My system's current status is pretty well documented over the past few posts.

There are still a couple of mysteries...
Now, whenever I reboot my box, the top, system LED flashes continuously for an hour or more. During this time, I have no SSH access but Telnet works. I can access Couchpotato, NZBGet, Headphones, but not Sickrage.

Once the flashing eventually stops, everything returns to normal.

Is there a way to determine what's causing this boot delay?

Also, but far less urgent, my NZBGet post-processing scripts are incomplete.

I've copied the NZBtoMedia scripts into the correct directory, but I'm missing some of the (I thought) default scripts, such as email.

Am I missing a step somewhere?

Edit...

Hopefully this TOP output helps:

16823 1 root R 24572 4.8 0 95.2 /opt/bin/python2 /opt/share/couchpotato/CouchPotato.py --daemon --data_dir /opt/usr/etc/config/couchpotato --config /opt/usr/etc/config/couchpo
16050 16042 root R < 2788 0.5 0 0.4 top

It looks to me that SickRage is pulling 90+% of my CPU.

as soon as your nas starts up run
Code:
ps aux | less
that will sho all running processes.

for the flashing light it will be one of the start up scripts in either /ffp/bin/start or opt/etc/init.d

You can disable ffp in the webui, that way you are only dealing with entware, and not deleting any of the files from the ffp structure.

Dont worry about helping, i'll get you up and running somehow ;)
