I don't see network hardware related problems in your dmesg output, so most likely your problem is NAS software or router related. In case you have nfs shares enabled, make sure, that they are not the same as samba/cifs shares. Check your router ip leasing period for clients, increase it and test then. Try to set static ip for NAS-test that again. Try connect cable to different port, change cable and so on. You don't need long cable to connect both devices, unless you can't place them both in one room temporary (assuming they are in different countries or continents :roll: ) .
P.S. Regarding file system corruption, you should never use fsck on mounted disks. I don't have experience with raid devices, so I can't help you with that. No doubts, Mijzelf is more experienced in this field.
