NSA325-drive not reachable

Post by pinya » Mon Feb 06, 2017 10:00 am

Dear Forum Members!

I own an NSA325 since 3 years, this is version 1. It has two 3TB disks mirrored (RAID1).
I cannot reach it any more. It does not show up in the NSA Seeker at all.
I looked up its IP address, using that I could reach the public folders via IP address in the windows explorer. But if I wanted to reach any folder with Admin authorization it did not accept my logon. However I could open the configuration page with the same user.

Today I cannot connect to it any more at all, even if I lookup the IP I cannot reach the folders.

I have the latest available firmware.

Has someone faced similar issue? How could you solve it?
Any alternative ideas for solution?

Currently I consider to get an external closure for my disk to see whether the data is ok.

Thanks and best regards,
Peter

Did you already try a factory reset? Keep the reset button on the back until it has beeped 3 times. This won't touch your files.

You can try without disks, and/or try the Upgrade key. (Probably a downgrade key in your case)
