I am new to nsa310. Although i read over a lot of pages over the forum, i didnt find anyone have the same problem and i am quite confused.

I have connect an external esata 500gb to nsa. The hdd is ok and i can see it over the web interface.
When i try to copy my files from the internal hdd to the externa via the esata, it does nothing, no alert, no masseges, nothing, and of course NO copying  .

I connect the same hdd via the usb interface and the copy was ok everything fine, but quite slow.

I dont know how to use telnet, ffp etc. I think that must be somethink silly i am missing in the progress...

Please help

I have not personally tried the esata. How are you doing the copy? Are you running it on a PC or using some internal copy in the NSA310?

If you use the web interface to look at the volume status does it show "healthy"? What format of file system (ext4, NTFS, FAT32) is it using?
