Hello.
I have problems moving big folder structure (360GB) inside my NAS Zyxel 326 via FTP (Filezilla).
Everything works for about 10 minutes but then I get the error message 421, too many open files.

The server disconnect and it is impossible to continue. It is even hard to delete the files it has transferred.
I use Ethernet connection with high speed transfer.

Now I am trying with wi-fi and much lower speed and see if this helps.

I have already tried a lot of different FileZilla settings according info online, passive and active mode, disabled the firewall, allow port openings, I have also used a different FTP client but I always have the same issue: It works very well for about 10 minutes and suddenly it crashes. It seems it happens more often during transfer of small files (maybe too high speed?)

Thanks for your help!

/juke

I don't have NAS 326 and I never used ftp actually. But you might be interested in another way of moving files inside NAS. If you enable built-in zyxel ssh service, you can use advantages of SSHFS. For windows OS as client you can use http://sftpnetdrive.com/ or any other.
P.S. Never mind. Forget about this way. Seems like it still copies to PC and back to NAS in circle, which is really very slow and ineffective.
