I try to install minidlna, but have problems even to start.
I have ffp (but no minidlna.sh file)

I tried http://forum.nas-central.org/viewtopic. ... 25#p109215
from step 1 or step 3, but this commands doesn't make anything.
I created folder ffp/funpkg/cache/br2
when I wrote /ffp/bin/wget -nv http://downloads.zyxel.nas-central.org/ ... -arm-2.txz
I have error 404 - not found

What should I do to download minidlna package, probably if I will get minidlna.sh in some directory of ffp I can start it and install.

Thanks in advance

How do you connect to NAS? I mean what ssh or telnet server you are using: zyxel-provided or ffp sshd?

For cleariness. You are using dropbear (from Mijzelf 3rd party zyxel packages) for connecting to NAS via ssh protocol. dropbear stands for ssh server on NAS and putty for ssh client on Windows.
Follow the instructions you already found, except step 4. # Restart sshd daemon service after upgrading. This is unnecessary in your case, because you are using different ssh server. As far I can see from your last output, you can download slapt-get, so previous 404 is probably copy-paste inaccuracy.

I see some bad things with your ffp installation:
Permissions 0777 for '/ffp/etc/ssh/ssh_host_dsa_key' are too open. By default this file is created with strict permissions, but you have very relaxed. This not a problem, as long as you not using ffp ssh service, but this makes me think, that something very bad evil like
Code:
chmod -r 777 /ffp
has been executed already, don't you? In that case, consider uninstalling ffp first and reinstalling again, before further proceeding.

still no success.
I reinstalled ffp. Connect via putty and follow instruction till step #3 slapt-get --upgrade...all commands looks like executed properly.
I left #4 and try to execute #5, but no success, I just don't have minidlna.sh file in /ffp/start....I connect to via scp and checked this folder, there is no minidlna.sh

I do not know what to do next......:)

It takes time for MiniDLNA to build database after first start (or media_dirs changing), though it should be visible on TV as soon as you start Minidlna daemon service on NAS. Is it visible on PC? Also check log file /ffp/var/log/minidlna.log.

Afaik no www config page available. It has only info www page at http://your.nas.local_ip.address:8200 . Configuration is done via editing config file-/ffp/etc/minidlna.conf. Minidlna daemon service restart or reload is required for new settings to be taken into account.

Minidlna is seen by my mobile and PC (pc with problems, once it's ok once invisible). TV don't see it, but on the info page http://your.nas.local_ip.address:8200 there is on the list as "panasonic". Maybe you know what can i change in config file???

If you have any advice what to do with config file, please let me know also how to open and edit it:)

Try to set low notify_interval.
Quote:
notify_interval=10

and uncomment row:
Quote:
max_connections=50

Then restart minidlna service.
BTW. Which type of connection is between TV and router? Wired or wireless?
