My NSA 310 disappears from network devices list

Post by BADMOPAR » Fri Apr 20, 2018 5:00 pm

Hello, 2 days ago my NSA 310 disappears from network devices list. I can still access him from the browser, but in Total Commander I need to write down the address (http://192.168.1.11/) otherwise is not visible. Even after I performed factory reset the problem remains.

Could it be that your Windows got an update? The NSA310 only supports SMB1, while W10 is dropping that. Don't know if that has any impact on DNS issues, though.

You can access your box over http using the IP address, but can you also still access the shares? In the latter case your Windows still supports SMB1.

I'm stuck on win 8.1 because of Windows Media Center and still can do whatever I want with my shares but after you post your questions I got an idea. I tried to look on my NAS from my sons computer with win 10 and guess what? Everything works fine. This means that problem is windows 8.1 related or probably something going wrong my HTPC because this was happening after my network administrator changed IP addresses of my IP cameras and recording computer from my PC. Anny idea?
