Corrupt HDD and iSCSI

Post by kwendel » Thu Apr 03, 2014 1:04 pm

Hello,

we are using an Iomega StorCenter ix4-200d with 4x1TB HDDs in an RAID-5.
We use the NAS for Server backups. All files were stored in an iSCSI target.

Now the NAS says that one HDD (No 2) is corrupt and must be replaced.
After an reboot of the NAS the iSCSI target vanished and it says capacity 0 B, available 0B and free 0 B...

What can i do to recover the files / iSCSI target?

- Thanks

Do you have ssh access to that box? And you write the box contains backups, does that mean there is no valuable data on it?
