Thank you in advance, my 1TB HD in the N1A1 died. Luckily I was able to remove & clone the drive and retrieve a lot of my files.
My question: Does anyone have steps or suggestions on installing a new 1TB drive in the N1A1 NAS and resurrecting the LG NAS?
I searched the LG support site, but I did not see to much as to fixing my N1A1. Thank you!

For another LG nas there is a way to initialize a disk via the network. I *think* this also applies for this nas, using the 'tool' in New user interface update firmware(Old UI to New UI) and tool -N1A1-

Thank you for your feedback Mijzelf. Your suggestion helped me a ton to get my n1a1 nas back up again.
