My LG N2B1 finally died on me this week. I've pulled the drives and want to mount them on a windows machine. Does anyone know the filesystem used, and how to mount it?

Any help would be very appreciated!

According to this thread it's ext3.

When the disks are in raid1, you might be able to mount a single disk using ext2 ifs. However, when the disks are raid0 or jbod (span), you'll need Linux. Just connect both disks to your computer, and boot it from a recent Ubuntu Live CD or -USB stick, and everything will be done automagically.

Do NOT let Windows 'initialize' the disk(s). "Initializing a disk" is Microsoft speak for "Deleting whatever is on the disk and just put a fresh NTFS filesystem on it".
