Hi all,

Ive recently gotten myself a Looqs Meebox Router Nas from Amazon dirt cheap (see http://www.amazon.co.uk/LOOQS-MeeBox-NA ... 231&sr=8-1)

It kinda works, not without its little issues, and I was wondering if there's a forum for it here? or at least interest..

Interesting it already comes rooted out of the box, and Ive already been able to install /configure twonkyserver on it instead of MediaTomb..

Just wondering if anyone else has one of these..

some info from http://theangryangel.co.uk/blog/

cat /proc/cpuinfo

I have one too :-)

I found that the processor and system used, is much the same as the one in a IB NAS4220 see: http://en.nas-4220.org

Also the system is much the same as a gemini board: http://sourceforge.net/projects/gemini-board/files/

And also Q-ONE NAS from Memup seems much the same: http://memup.co.uk/Q-ONE-Wireless-netwo ... -_a74.html

When you need some already compiled linux binaries (you might chroot in it and build something?) you can for example get a stage 3 from gentoo: http://gentoo.c3sl.ufpr.br/experimental ... es/armv4l/

Also this (Psion seems also armv4l like) is usable for chroot environment or if in need for other binaries: http://sourceforge.net/projects/linux-7110/files/

The disk image provided by the manufacturer is not necessary when one only wants to use this device only as NAS with ftp telnet nfs samba, these work even without the diskimage

Some info on the redboot (just for the idea, this is about another device): http://nas-2000.org/download/tinky-2_3_2_mu_02/README there some interesting ipk packages too: http://nas-2000.org/download/tinky-2_3_2_mu_02/ipkg/

This was what I could find...

I would like to know what jumper J7 on the board does... and if it is possible to boot from USB for example...

Good luck!
