Krishna,

I have the exact same issue. Did you ever find a resolution?

Thanks

I have recently been playing around with one of these. I wasn't impressed with the default software and I ended up running FreeNAS from a USB drive. It runs perfectly.
I also checked what DIMM slots were available. According to FreeBSD there were 4 slots that can take DDR2 8GB DIMMs each. When I opened it up there were only 2 slots. I removed the 1GB DIMM installed and added a pair of 1GB DIMMs. This worked perfectly. I would like to get hold of some 8GB DIMMs to install and test instead. I want to do that to see how well it handles ZFS Dedupe.

Bad news... it has an old chipset that only support a max of 4GB RAM.
