SSH activation under Lacie

Post by carloph » Wed Mar 14, 2018 7:54 am

Hello,

I need to activate SSH access from a NAS with Lacie firmware 2.2.12.2

I found many suggestions in the forum: which is the easiest and less intrusive solution maintaining the same Lacie firmware ?

Thanks for any reply

As far as I know there is no easy way to enable ssh on firmware 2.2.12.2. A list of known ways can be found here. Unfortunately for you these have all been disabled by now.

In your case I'd use the standalone kernel from plugout.net, use it to manually assemble the raid array and mount it, and apply step 3 to have ssh in the firmware.

Hi Carloph,

You misunderstood what Mijzelf wrote. He did not say to install our alternative firmware but use the tool fvdw-sl console to edit some files.(what I had already suggested )
